It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Taylor (Stuart, Florida), who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ernestine (James Clark, Sr.); and her brothers, Edward W. Clark and James E. Clark, Jr. (Renee). She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Jean, Bishop Ricardo Weaver, Sr. (Krystal) and Ricardo Weaver, Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Victor Clark, Kenesha Clark, Kiandra Clark-Gilliam (Jason), Edward Clark (Denise), Angelica Clark, Jazmin Clark, Jayme Clark, Janell Clark, Kareem Chivers (Kemba), Nicholas Chivers (Natasha) and James Carter, Jr.; her aunts and uncles, James Oliver, Abraham Oliver (Pat), Geneva Houston, Barbara Stringer, Apostle Abbie Knight (Keith), Joe Louis Oliver and Kenneth Clark; her close friend Minister Gailya Delancy (Ted); and her caregivers, Kizzy Rucker and Alexandra Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Port Salerno Church of God (4605 SE Cove Rd, Stuart, FL 34994). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
