He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Ramon Rivas Sr. (Everett) and Doris Cruz Rivas (Rebecca Sue Rivas); and his daughter Sue Rivas. He is survived by: his children, R. Scott Rivas (Tamara) and Cheryl Atwood (Scott); his grandchildren, Jennifer Fridinger (Joseph), Brent Everett, Ryan Rivas (Lisa), Caitlin Walker and Noah Walker; and his great grandchildren, Mason Everett Ballard and Leah Marie Rivas.
