With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Everett Wray Petry of Summerfield, Florida, born in Mount Carbon, West Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronnie H. Petry and Marjorie Horrocks; his wife Betty Carol Dent; his siblings, Larry Petry and Ruth Ann Nichols; his sons, Greg Petry (Ginger) of Summerfield, FL and Randy Petry (Alicia) of Jackson, GA; his siblings, Shelby Washko (Joe) of Hinckley, OH, Ronald Petry of Altamonte Springs, FL and James E. Petry (Anna Lou) of Hurricane, WV; his friend Josie Crane; and his grandchildren, Tori, Savannah, Chase, Alex and Thomas. He was also cherished by his niece and nephews.
