With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Oral Blackmon of Summerfield, Florida, born in Ocala, Florida, who passed away on January 22, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle John and Naomi Stoops Blackmon. He is survived by: his wife Peggy DeBruhl Blackmon; his sons, Jon and David; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Elizabeth and Emily; and his brother Harold.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Damon Walker Scholarship Fund at First Baptist Church of Belleview or Cornerstone Hospice.
