He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie A. Dyess and Theda P.; and his brother Drew C. Dyess of Live Oak. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Dyess (Hunt); his son James Bradley Dyess; his daughter-in-law Crystal; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jase and Ava; and his nephew Keith Dyess.
