He was predeceased by: his parents, Alza Simpson and Clarence Simpson; his wife Phyllis Mercer Simpson; and his brother Fred Simpson. He is survived by: his sister Wanda Tucker; his daughters, Annettia Simpson and Kathy Berry (Bill); his grandsons, Billy Katzenbach, Brian Katzenbach, Alan Berry (Cortney) and Brian Berry (Sallie); and his great grandchildren, Austin O'Quinn (Greeshma), Clarissa Katzenbach, Casey Katzenbach and Jason Katzenbach. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
