He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Roper and Frances Rhett Roper; his daughters, Anita Roper Manelus and Gretta Roper; and his siblings, William Henry Roper, Frank Roper, Geraldine Johnson, Barbara Ann Roper and Marcia Ann Rhett.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Roper of Sunrise, FL; his daughters, Evangelist Henrietta Roper Warren (Elder Thomas) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Minister Lorraine Roper Golden of Sunrise, FL; his sisters, Mary Hagin of Springfield, GA, Alba Roper Young of Sylvania, GA and Decomathier Lee of Rincon, GA; his aunt Thelma Goldwire of Clyo, GA; and his uncle Eddie Wright of Charleston, SC.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
