He is survived by: his daughter Brianne Checca (Ashley Sachs) of Pompano Beach; his grandchildren, Savannah and Bayou; his close friend Carol Martin; his sister Patricia Checca-Anesetti; and his niece Rosalia Geloso-Barone.
