With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sidney Shane in Sunrise, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Shane (Bernstein) and Harry Shane; his siblings, Norman Shane, Martin Shane and Helen Weiss (Shane); and his grandfather Shane.
He is survived by: his former spouse Marlis Shane (Lundmueller); his children, Bill, Linda Shane (Chapman) of Woodruff, Patty Shane of Biddeford and Barbara Shane of Estero, Florida.; his grandchildren, Craig, Chad, Anthony, Jordan, Zach, Hannah, Emily and Maia; his great grandchildren, Cassidy, Cadence, Celina, Jack, Emilia, Ella, Everly, Margaret and Camille; his great great grandchildren, Logan and Gracelyn; and his close friend Magda Strunk (Maddy). He is also survived by his children's, grandchildren's, and great grandchildren.
