He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnice Cooper and Genester Cooper; and his nephew Samuel Bennett. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Wood (Tommy, Jr.) and Robyn Cooper; his siblings, Yonna Lanier (Donnie), Sheila Bennett (Muril) and Andy Cooper (Julia); his grandson Brannon Wood (Chassaidy); his great grandchildren, Tucker and Braylon; and his nephew Kenny Keeling.
