He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebenezer Footman and Annie Bell Footman; and his son Ricky Carlos Footman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wiliford Footman; his children, Raymond Haynes (Elisabeth), Tony Jerome Branton (Carolyn), Abby Branton, Maria Kelly (William) and Ruby Nicholson (Ray); his sisters, Effie Tolbert, Daisy Bell Lovett (Jean Claude) and Dairlene Clemons; and his daughter-in-law Flamisean Footman. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 11 great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
