She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. W. H. Peacock and Marina Burnett Peacock; and her siblings, Betty Ann Hughes and Bud Peacock. She is survived by: her husband Dr. John M. Wells, Jr.; her children, John M. "Jay" Wells, III and Dr. Wendy A. Wells; her sisters, Elaine Herrington (Jim) and Sharon Scott; and her sister-in-law Linda Peacock. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
