He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine Herndon Watson of Jefferson County, Florida. and Willie Albert Watson, Sr.; his son Kirk Alan Watson; and his siblings, Henry Malcolm "Mickey" Watson and Wilma Jean Watson Chesser.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lois Watson; his children, James Albert "Al" Watson (Kim) and Martha "Marti" Renee Chapman (John); his sister Deannie Roessler (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Jake Watson (Brittany), Austin Watson (Corissa), Courtney Dunn (Garrett), Dennis Ratliff, Kaylin Rogers (Hunter), Kyle McGuffey (Delaney), Austin McGuffey (Victoria), Hayden Chapman, Olivia Watson and Jonah Watson; and his great grandchildren, Evan, Maddie, Walker, Harper, Dessie, Mason and Luke.
