Barbara Davis Nichols Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Davis Nichols of Tallahassee, Florida, born in Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on May 8, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley T. Davis and Geneva Bowen Davis; and her daughter Teresa Nichols. She is survived by: her husband Howard Nichols; her sister Shirley Davis Smith (Wayne); her daughter Kelley Nichols Krause (Troy); her grandchildren, Corey Strickland (Mallory), Hannah Strickland Day (Ryan) and Geneva Ruryk (Genna); and her great grandchildren, Louise Ann Strickland, Rhett and Henry Day. She is also survived by family members and friends.
