The memory of Bertice Belle Maxwell of Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on May 11, 2026 at the age of 100, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Seth Daughtry and Hilda Daughtry; and her husband James D. Maxwell Sr.. She is survived by: her son Jim Maxwell; her granddaughters, Beth Wilkinson (Lyn) and Katie Morris (Allan); her great grandchildren, MacKenzie Morris, Dakota Morris, Finley Morris and Georgia Morris; and her sister Betty Flounlacker of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pine Hill Baptist Church (2678 Lower Hawthorne Trail, Cairo, GA 39828). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
