With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Schroeder (Tallahassee, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Gabsdell and Louise Gabsdell; her husband Dr. Edward Schroeder; and her granddaughter Katherine Schroeder. She is survived by: her children, Carla Leanillo, Hans Schroeder (Anne) and Karen Schroeder; her grandchildren, Amanda Leanillo, Carson Schroeder, Gavin Leanillo (Meagan), Susannah Escobar (JT), Ben Morgan and Lilah Schroeder; and her great grandchildren, Lincoln Leanillo and Evva Escobar. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in honor of Carol can be made to Heart and Soul Hospice or a charity of your choice.
