He is survived by: his wife Mary "Jackie" Jackson Harvey; his children, Charles Brumfield Harvey, Jr. (Lee Anne Everhart), Melinda Jane Shallcross (John Cotton), John Akers Harvey (Jennifer) and Jeff Grady Harvey (Kathryn); and his grandchildren, Isabelle, Amelie Shallcross, Caroline, Elizabeth Harvey, John "Jackson" Harvey, Alexander Harvey and Margaret Harvey.
