He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ancel Pickles, Sr. and Willie Mae Handley Townsend (W. C.); and his siblings, James Ancel Pickles, Jr., Wanda Townsend and Sheila King.
He is survived by: his wife Tracy; his children, Brittany Pickles, Matthew Wood (Kayla), Tiffany Kinard (Jared), Christian Wood (Abigail) and James Joseph (JJ); his grandchildren, Levi Pickles, Lillie Kinard, Justice Kinard, Anistynn Kinard, Thomas James, Summer Wood and Kelsey Wood; and his siblings, J. T. King, Mitchell King, Kathy Adams, Patsy Webb, Geraldine Beggs and Shirley King.
