David Sawyer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Sawyer (Tallahassee, Florida), who passed away on April 4, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Stegall Sawyer and Wilburn Douglas Sawyer, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Ava; his brother-in-law Al Davis; his nieces and nephews, Megan, Rachel and Jordan; and his pet Loki. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; in-laws.
