He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Cox and Sarah Collins; his wife Mary Elizabeth; his sons, Keith Edward and Benjamin Grant; and his brother Kenneth Cox.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly McDonald, Wendy Cox (Bobbi Messer), Lacey Patterson and Sarah Donley (Taylor); his grandchildren, Katie Linton, Colin Cox, David Cox, Ethan Patterson, Lola Patterson, Ben Patterson, Warren Donley, Wesley Donley and Wyatt Donley; and his great grandchild Serephina Cox.
