He is survived by: his children, David L. Brown (Katherine), Doug Hughes (Patricia), Randy Hughes (Nicole), Pat Akins (Craig) and Wanda Shoemaker (Mike); and his sister Sherry Brown Thursby. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
