He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances Sylvester Mendrick; his parents, Walter Jerisal Mendrick and Catherine Batson Mendrick; his siblings, Walter Mendrick, Richard Mendrick and Nancy Anderson of Ft. Myers, FL; his sons, Donald Andrew, Christopher Michael and Todd Joseph; his close friend Carrie Mendrick Roane; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Mendrick; his close friends, Steve, Frank and Bernie; his grandchild Dakota Yetzer; his great grandchild Waker Miles Yetzer; and his grandsons, Gabriel and Sebastian Roane of Tallahassee, FL.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John Paul II Catholic Church (3720 Capital Cir SE, Tallahassee, FL 32311). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery (845 Piedmont Dr, Tallahassee, FL 32312).
