In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Washington Nickerson and Charlotte June Howell; his husband Hurtis Amerson; his daughter Mary Rock (Jon); his grandson Ivan Rock; and his siblings, George Webster (Marietta), Pat Amerson (Fran) and Linda Jernigan (Larry). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Commerce Center for Compassionate Care at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in memory of Nick Nickerson.
