As Dorothy Lou departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dorothy Lou. Though Dorothy Lou may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rountree and Anne Rountree; her husband Colonel John Q. Wise; and her sister Betty Wattinger. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Mills of Hickory, James Wise of Pembroke Pines, Brian Wise of St. Petersburg, Mary Hayes of Tallahassee and Lisa Wise of Tallahassee, Florida. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
