With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Croom in Tallahassee, Florida, born in Marianna, Florida, who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lee Croom and Myrtle Gause Croom (Sapp); his wife Sue Croom; and his stepfather Troy Sapp. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Croom Johnson (Troy) of Tallahassee, FL; his stepdaughter Tracy Stewart (Bill Leamons); and his grandchildren, Trey Johnson, Walker Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Jackson Dampier, Max Dampier and Bennett Dampier.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church music department or charity of your choice in his name.
