He is survived by: his wife Marcia Vance Leonard Taliaferro.
In 1968, Taliaferro became Public Relations Director for St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, a 1000-bed hospital and trauma center operated by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
