She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlando L. Culver and Mary Lee Culver; her siblings, Dorothy Culver Flemming, Benjamin Lawrence Culver, Linda Faye Culver and Gregory James; her stepmother Vernell Culver; and her stepson Warren Davis, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband George Upton; her daughters, Donna Bagnall (Mark), Dadriane Ethel Townes and Danielle Davis; her stepdaughter Cynthia Davis Smith; her sister Lola Bowman; her sister-in-law Louise Culver; her grandchildren, Brandon L. Townes, Diara J. Townes, Damina E. Townes, Bryan Bagnall, Brennan Bagnall, Delise M. Bagnall, Darissa Townes, Bria Collier, Byren Collier and Brielle-Nicole Ottley; and her goddaughter Mary Ellen Friday. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who became extended family.
