She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Dexter and Wilma Davis Wester; her husband Edwin F. Blanton; and her brothers, Douglas Wester and Dexter Wester.
She is survived by: her children, Wade McDaniel (Melinda), Doug McDaniel (Christy) and Laurel Rigg (Ken); her stepsons, Garrett Blanton (Amy) and Travis Blanton (Greer); her grandchildren, Davis, Taylor, Kensley, Ellie, Garrett Jr., Megan, Kai and Silas; her brother Gerald Wester (Sharon); and her niece Elizabeth Wester.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Francis Wildlife Association or the Leon County Humane Society.
