He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Porter and Pearl Porter. He is survived by: his wife Betty Porter; his daughters, Lucy Spence (Scott) and Katie Whitfield (Billy); his siblings, Mary Jo Wathen (Red), Larry Porter (Bobbie), Mark Porter and Teresa Porter (Gomez); his grandchildren, Tina, Abby, Linnie, Blake, Rhett and Aubrie; and his great grandchild Ronnie Jr..
