He is survived by: his siblings, Curtis Atkins (Rosemary) of Stafford, VA, Eddie Atkins (Barbara), Lester Atkins of Tallahassee, FL, Michael Atkins (Tinareneal) of Salem, AL, Heddie Fletcher (Moses) of Durham, NC, Helen Mays (Tommy Sr.) of Colorado Springs, CO, Christina Sylvester of Panama City, FL, Linda Barrington (Leander) of Monticello, FL and Flora Ball (Calvin) of Tallahassee, FL; and his aunts, Maggie Mickens of Tallahassee, FL and Eliza Morris of Monticello, FL.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tillman Funeral Home (4006 Crawfordville Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32305). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Branch AME Church (95 Silver Lake Rd, Monticello, FL 32344). A burial was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the Old Union African American Cemetery North Norias.
