He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil and Evelyn; and his brother Mark. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his son Edward (Candice) of Crawfordville, Florida; his granddaughter Sydney of Tallahassee, Florida; and his siblings, Virginia Kane of Wilder, Mary Ann Sandfoss (Steve) of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, John and Fred "Fritz" (Anne) of Kentucky. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Tallahassee National Cemetery (5015 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 32311).
