With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria R Stewart of Tallahassee, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Gloria is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gloria's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel E. Rhodes and Vinnie E. Rhodes; and her brothers, Paul and John. She is survived by: her nephew Michael Rhodes (Cheryl) of Wadmalaw Island.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Maguire Center at Westminster Oaks (1221 Commencement Cove, Tallahassee, FL 32308).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Westminster Oaks or The Gideons International.
