She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Thompson Sr. and Lucille Bolton-Thompson; her husband Minister Starling Cofield; her granddaughter Alona Wilson; her siblings, Eddie, Amos, James, Robert, Eugene, Pennie, Mary, Sallie, Ollie and Jessie; and her sister-in-law Catherine Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vanessa Tillman Sandra Baker (Samuel) and Jan Payne; her grandchildren, Samuel III, Alan, Ariel and Shalonda; her great grandchildren, Quentin, Jalen, Chase, Michaela, Janecia, McKenzie and Nariah; her brother Charles Thompson; her siblings-in-law, Freddie Cofield, Willie Mae Fedd of Tallahassee, Lillie Mae Dixon of Tallahassee, Beatrice McNeffer of Tallahassee and Freddie Mae Cofield of Tallahassee; and also Monique Ewell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
