We are sad to announce that, on March 28, 2026, at the age of 100, Herbert Rudell Jones (Tallahassee, Florida), born in Bexar, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Herbert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Herbert. Though Herbert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Jones and Mittie Rose Watson Jones; and his wife Lillie Mae Moody Jones. He is survived by: his daughter Robbie Jones; his brothers, Orville (Gerry Moody) and Rick (Reda O'Dell); and his sister-in-law Jan Moody. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.
