It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Imogene Swearingen in Tallahassee, Florida, born in Dowling Park, Florida, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Otis Simons and Irene McLeod Simons; her husband Charles Clayton Swearingen; and her siblings, Curtis Simons and Iris Swain.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Ferrell (Jim) and Tammy Norris (Dwight); her brother Glenn Simons; and her grandchildren, Amanda Morabito (Corey), Annabeth Norris and Vincent Norris. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family request that donations be made to Florida Baptist Children's Home or Big Bend Hospice, in memory of Imogene.
