With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Isabel M. Hornbeek (Tallahassee, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Lamar Hornbeek; her children, Richele Marie Hornbeek and Randal Richard Hornbeek; and her parents, Maria Luisa Botello Nunez and Gregorio Urquiza.

She is survived by: her daughter Beverly H. Smith; her son-in-law Jerry Smith; her grandson Jason Smith (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Jacob (Burklee), Nathan (Lexi), James and Addy Smith; and her great great grandchild Brynlee.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Killearn Methodist Church, Senior Adult Ministry, 2800 Shamrock St. S, Tallahassee, FL 32309 or Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.
