James Bayley Goodson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2025, at the age of 71, James Bayley Goodson (Tallahassee, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Rose Goodson and John Goodson. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Sheeks Goodson; his sons, Adam Bayley Goodson (Jackie) of Tallahassee, FL and James Joshua Goodson (Meghan) of Honolulu, HI.; his granddaughter Penelope Lynn Goodson; his brothers, Mark Goodson (Joannie) of Ellettsville, IN, Jonathon Goodson (Linda) of Evansville, IN and Spencer Goodson (Mary) of Bloomington, IN.; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Sheeks (Gina) of Columbus, GA, Edith Sheeks of Tallahassee, FL and Clark Sheeks of Murray, KY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church or to Grace Mission.
