He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel B. Rogers and Wilhelmena Byrd Rogers; his wife Peggy Rogers; his siblings-in-law, Mary Margaret Rogers, Edwin Blanton, Terry Nelson and Jerry Nelson; his parents-in-law, Howard Nelson and Florence Nelson; his son-in-law Jon Holland; and his great-nephew Brooks Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Holland, Jeff (Debbie) and Sandra Rogers; his grandchildren, Michelle Holland, Heather Barnes (Mitchell), Shannon Powell and Bradley Sykes (Mary); his stepgrandchildren, Trishka Sales and Shane Powell; and his siblings, Sam Rogers and Elsie Rogers. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
