He was predeceased by: his father Sidney Evans; and his grandparents, Durwood, Mary Mae Evans, Lloyd and Willie Mae Carter.
He is survived by: his former wife Beth Evans; his daughters, Dana Bennett and Rebecca Evans; his mother Helen Evans; his sister Cynthia Evans Thompson (Kevin Thompson); and his nieces, Calynne Thompson and Ashlynne Thompson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Abbey Funeral Home (4037 N Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
