She was predeceased by: her parents, Genevieve Burniece (Anderson) and Stuart Burniece; her parents-in-law, Leona Benesh Kopacek, John Benesh and John Kopacek; her niece Iris Burniece; her cousin Maureen Burniece; and her siblings-in-law, Mona Godderis, Gene Godderis and Ronald Tersteeg.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Allen Benesh; her children, Marc Alan Benesh and Andrea Lee Carr; her grandchildren, Katie Benesh, Lily Benesh, Cole Carr and Paige Carr; her siblings, Dan Burniece, Michele "Mikey" Burniece and Patricia "Patsy" Riley; and her sister-in-law Betty Lou Tersteeg. She is also survived by many other family members and close friends.
