He is survived by: his wife Sally Shaw; his children, Sarah Bishop Manning (Ryan), Sampson Shaw Hyde and Jackson Billy Hyde; his grandchildren, Michael Shaw Manning and Sarah Cawthon Manning; and his brother Edwin B. Hyde Jr..
