We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2025, at the age of 84, Joan Eleanor Cobb (Tallahassee, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Eads and Estelle Eads; her husband Bobby Cobb; and her brothers, Donald and Thomas Eads.
She is survived by: her son Danny Cobb (Polly Cobb); her grandchildren, Sarah Steere and Kyle Cobb (Aimee Maltby); and her siblings, Billy Eads, Jeanette Smith (Dean) and Sidney Eads (Mary). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bevis Funeral Home & Crematory (200 John Knox Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to one of the many Alzheimer's foundations or associations that are working on a cure for the disease.
