He is survived by: his wife Pamela Briggs; his children, Joseph Briggs Jr. (Janna), Maria Briggs Galan, Adam Briggs (Lynne) and Kristen Briggs; his grandchildren, Caleb Hopkins, Sophia Briggs, William Briggs, Cosette Hughes, Lars Hughes and Teagan Hughes; and his great grandchild Olyver Hopkins. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins.
