She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Lee Roane and Walter Woodrow Powers. She is survived by: her sister Paulette Powers Kennedy; her children, Christopher Collins (Alicia) and Susan Franks; and her grandchildren, Morgan Franks, Timothy Collins, Savannah Franks, Rachel Collins, Mason Collins, Samuel Collins, Katie Larsen and John Larsen. She is also survived by many nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to support Big Bend Hospice of Tallahassee, Florida.
