It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kate Wells Siets (Tallahassee, Florida), born in Powhatan, Virginia, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wells and Carrie L. Wells; her husband William Siets Sr.; her daughter Carol Smith; and her grandchildren, William Stone and Lisa Cox.
She is survived by: her children, William Siets Jr. (Mary), Kay Cranley and Johnny Siets; her grandchildren, William Siets III, Carolyn Siets, Billy Smith, Ben Stone, Kate Bearden, Johnny E Siets, Rae Martin, Mara Freeman and Noah Siets; her great grandchildren, William Smith (Bubba), Macy Brown, Breanna Stone, Kara Stone, Kyra Stuadt, Bobby Ray Staudt, Alyssa Stone, Kyler Stone-Bearden, Hanna Bearden, Marek Martin, Killian Martin and Caydence Siets; and her great great grandchildren, Harper Clark and Isabella McMurray. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
