It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Lee Echternacht (Tallahassee, Florida), who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Echternacht and Elsie Elwood Echternacht; his stepmother Ina Echternacht; and his brother John Echternacht. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Vasquez Echternacht; his children, Kenneth Echternacht, Jr. (Pam) of Crestview, Florida, Deirdre Echternacht-Stafford of Jacksonville, Florida and Katherine Echternacht Fleming (Jeff) of Tallahassee; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Dylan, Justin, Megan, Audrey, Devin and Haley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to Good Shepherd Catholic Church or to Big Bend Hospice, Tallahassee.
