She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Jay Burton; her mother Florence McKinnon Scherdin; and her brother Ronald H. Scherdin. She is survived by: her son Brooks Burton; her grandchildren, Brantley Burton, Georgia Burton and Everett Burton; her brother Robert L. Scherdin, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Kay Scherdin of Havana, FL. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
