He was predeceased by: his parents, Odias Yates and Yvonne Yates (Coutu); his wife Rita Yates (Berard); and his siblings, Yvette and Cleo.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Louth (Jim) of Warwick, RI and Donna Ruscito (Richard) of Tallahassee, FL; his brother Gerard Yates of Venice, FL; his grandchildren, Jim Louth III (Lauren) and Shannon Grinnell (Louth); and his great grandchildren, Julia and Jim Louth IV.
