Layne; her great grandchildren, Perri Ingram and Charles Grant Ingram; her nieces, Sonya Bradford (Robert) and Carmen Howell Ferguson; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kenya Ferguson McNair and Tavares Muhammad (Karriem); her nieces and nephews, Sharon Bordeaux, Evelyn Eubanks, Verniece Hall-Santos, Aundrae Newman, William Alexander, Kenneth Alexander, Jacob Legree Jones, William Charles Sheldon "Bubba" Ingram III, Sean Gilliam and Jelani Alexander; and her godchildren, Pamela Greene, Keith Miles, Kofi Hemmingway, Julius "Chaka" Hemmingway, Brooks Duncan, Rian Tyler and Mallory Mathews.
