He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Harris Somerset and Jesse Wyatt Somerset; his brother James "Jimmy" Somerset (Katha "Kathy" Taylor); and his adoptive son Christopher. He is survived by: his son Derek Somerset; his siblings, Maxine Richardson, Paula Griffin, Mickey and Jesse Wyatt Jr.; and his grandchildren, Steven Mitchell Somerset, Shelby Dianne Somerset and Dylan Wayne Somerset.
